The brightness of today is eyepopping. And so are the colours. The colours that catch my eye anyway. The primary bucket and spade ones stand out as I look around me. The bleached out muted shades have gone for the moment. It's a bit too bright for me, I have to say.
Not the sunshine. Never that. That can bestow it's brightness all day long, and I wont complain.
My system needs to get used to the bright. I've been submerged in the watery hues of Winter for so long that I'm finding it hard to adjust. It's a bit odd going outside without a coat on, and thinking about a cold drink rather than a cup of tea. I feel a warmth on my back and I've stuffed my scarf inside my bag.
The sea is twinkling and bubbling. The holidaymakers are chirruping and chattering. Bright happy noises are everywhere.

Really? I haven't walked that way into town or ages. I thought I would or a change today (and I like the post office at that end of town too).
