December Photo Project

I have a huge Agapanthus plant at the front of my house. In the summer it produces long thick stems with a flamboyant blue flower (actually lots of small flowers making up the whole). It was this plant that sold our house to me when we looked at it eleven years ago.

Once the flowers have faded, the seeds set. I think it's just as beautiful. I have grown lots of baby plants from the seeds, and given them to friends and family. They will eventually dry out, and then I cut them and bring them indoors. They make a striking display. I love a versatile plant!
