Today we went out and bought the tree, bought it back home and realised it was too big for the room. Oops. It's now twinkling away near the entrance to the kitchen. Alfie and Olly decorated it. It looks wonderfully chaotic and not at all co-ordinated. Just how it should be I think.
Olly found a Santa hat and Alfie arranged our nativity scene, while explaining the Christmas story to Olly in his own inimitable way. It was a lovely evening.
