Hello lovelies.
 
How's things at your end? Everything is trucking along here. With a hiccup or two along the way of course. But all is good. As it's Monday, I really should be cleaning up the post weekend house. I have camping equipment all over the living room. There is Lego everywhere I look. The floors need mopping. The loos need scrubbing. The beds need making. The cupboards are bare. There are shoes and wellies lying in wait to trip me up in the hallway.
 
But I'm feeling a bit rebellious today. I may just go and lie on the bed and read instead. I'm very good at making a meal from nothing, and I'm even better at a top and tail clean.

    Awesome! One of the best gifts I ever gave myself was to see that 'pretty good is good enough.' I used to think if I didn't have time (or inclination) to do a thorough, stellar job at something then I shouldn't do it. Hmmmm. Not a good rule when it came to housework for me because it seemed time and inclination were missing in action. Now I do half jobs, and 'good enough for now' jobs and I sail under the wire with out the house getting condemned and more importantly, without ME getting condemned:)

    Oh, and making a meal from nothing is a gift! Maybe many people have a default dinner or two up their sleeves. Don't you wonder what they are? And I think they change over time. At least they have at my house. The 'gift' may start young.....my two year old granddaughter would eat pancakes morning, noon or night.

    It does you good to rebel every once in a while otherwise why would our teens do it all the time. Hope you managed to get a bit of me time before the demands of family life took over again.
