May. My favourite month of the year.
The sun is warming up, but isn't too warm (I'm not a sweltering in the heat person). The days are getting longer, and more time is spent out doors. Flip flops are back on my feet for the foreseeable future. There are a broader palette of colours that great the eye. Cliff top walks commence in earnest with Honey, now the dog are no longer allowed on St Ives beaches. The town is getting busier, but it isn't silly season just yet. The barbecue will soon get it's first airing of the year. My laundry is more likely to be hung on the line, than draped around the house. Everyone seems happier. Salads, strawberries and ice lollies are the food of choice.
