Post Match Commentary

Another weekend is nearly over. And what stuff did we get up to?

The tea dunk test. Passed with flying colours.

The harbour 8pm.




Friday
Biscuit making. Potting out broad beans. Enjoying the sunshine. Sowing annual flower seeds for posies during the summer. Potting up more seeds in pots - cosmos, gypsophelia, snapdragons, marigolds and sunflowers. Cottage pie with lots of vegetables. An inspired banana, chocolate and fudge cake baked. A swift drink by the harbour with the Judo Mums. Giggles at American Office.

Saturday
Rain and wind curtails outside play. The luxury of a lie-in. Treats for Betty. Take away curry and a bottle of beer. Magazine haul. Hanging out as a family. Dr Who double bill. New journal.

Sunday
Lounging around in pj's. Tomy train in overdrive. Swimming for Marc, Alfie & Olly. Towednack walk for me. Sunday roast. Admiring the tulips. Pottering in the greenhouse. Preparing for the working week. Mammoth ironing mountain.

I sit here now while the older ones are watching TV, and the youngest one is in bed.

They are laughing together. It's nice.

  4. I love your photos, the close up ones are beautiful. We are debating getting a new camera because ours doesnt 'do' good close up shots.What type is yours and would you recommend it?

      We recently bought a Fuji Finepix digital camera. It was a bit of an investment buy. Since starting my blog, I have become obsessed with taking photos.

      I found it quite complicated to start with (and heavy!). I got a tutorial from a photographer friend of mine,,and then I just played around with it.

      I am never without it, 'cause you never know...

  5. Spring looks more advanced down your way! Some lovely photographs of your weekend. I to started taking so many more photos when I started my blog, I always take my camera out with me now, you never know what you might miss. The daffodil field looks fantastic the smell of the flowers must have been good.
