A Life In A Day

Hello there! And how are we all this lovely evening? Apart from a stinker of a cold, I am pretty good as it goes. Olly has slept through the night for five nights in a row. Granted he is up with the lark (literally) but....you can't have it all, can you! I have started wearing flip flops again. I can't quite bring myself to wear a skirt, but I'm no longer in need of the coat.

Thank you for all your lovely comments on recent posts. It really was a lovely weekend. A proper family affair. I love reading all about family life out there. I hope you don't mind my indulging in this way today. A snap shot of life here. A photograph an hour for twelve hours - 6.30am - 6.30pm (by virtue of the fact that I was woken at that time by Olly singing a Thomas The Tank Engine song for me).

Good Morning!

Ham sandwich for breakfast. Why not?

Cosmos and Wall Flowers waiting to go into the ground

Painty hands

Wild flowers picked during our walk

Cup of tea and Sarah Raven

Lunch Al fresco.

Flowers on my tomato plant

Alfie doing his homework on the trampoline. Not sure I approve..

Colour

Chicken and bacon salad for tea. No cue or toms. No dressing.

Pyjamas.

Sometimes there is nothing nicer than just being at home.

Leanne xx

  1. What a great idea. I love this post. Your day is a lot like mine, even though we're so far apart geographically. I absolutely love blogland for that very reason: reading "mom blogs" like yours gives me a glimpse into other moms' lives and I really enjoy that.
