52 Weeks of Happy - 7/52

This weeks happy.

1. Pride & Prejudice

It's a cliche to say it, but one of my favourite novels ever. It's the 200th anniversary of it's publication this month. She was a classy act was Ms Austen. She was most certainly a people watcher, her observations are so acute. She is funny, cynical and a bit naughty. If you have never read it, I urge you to. Put down the twenty first century chick lit, and read the original and best. You won't be disappointed.

2. Feeding Time At The Zoo

Olly loves Beryl and Jean. I think they are rather fond of him too. It maybe the copious amounts of breakfast cereal that he has been feeding them this week. He has been sneaking it out of the kitchen. I caught him with the Rice Krispies this morning, scattering liberally around the garden. I do get  kick out seeing him with the chickens.

3. A Tidy Playroom/Conservatory

This is a very rare sight, but with all the pleasant weather we have been having, Olly has been in and out of the garden most days. I like tidy. The conservatory used to be my little room to escape all the boy in the house. When Olly came along, it became mine and his room. But really it's his!! Forgive me, but I can't help the happy when I see it like this. It's such a rare sight.

4. Does There Need To Be A Reason?

I took this photo this morning. It just makes me smile!

There's lots of happy at the moment. Hooray!!

  1. I totally get the tidy playroom thing! We don't have a seperate space for our toys so I do like things to be put away at the end of the day.

There was a good series on Radio 4 last week or the week before about the "real" Jane Austen. It was fascinating. I'm a big fan too.
