Raising a glass



This evening I am raising a glass to my friend. Someone I met through book group. Someone with the most amazing zest and energy for life. Who faced things head on with bravery and a sense of humour. Who had courage, guts and determination. Who was honest and pragmatic about her illness. Who raised a glass to us all via her Facebook page at the weekend.

God bless you Roo.

I will miss you so very much.

    Sorry to hear about your friend. She sounds like a very special person. She'll be keeping a very close eye on you from way up high and will continue to raise a glass with you.

    Hugs to you Leanne. I lost a very close friend to breast cancer last Summer; she left 2 young daughters. Sometimes life is just plain unfair. Here's to your friend. xx
