Seed Heads

Every year I walk the lanes towards Steeple Woods and collect armfuls the stuff. I display it all over the house. There's something about it's pared down simplicity that I love. It's no surprise then that I am a lover of Angie Lewin. I would dearly love one of her linocuts, but content myself (and my budget) with her cards and postcards instead.

Linking up with Lou's Nature In The Home series.

  1. Hi Leanne. I love seed heads and grasses too. Thank you for popping over to Chalky's. Luckily we have 2 more weeks in Dubai!

  2. They're beautiful and simple, which I love. I like the way they look in front of the window.

  3. I love seedheads too Leanne but sometimes I forget to shake them and end up with little seeds all over the place!

  4. They are so simple, yet so beautiful. I love the look of natural dead flowers and plants in the house. xoxo

  5. Beautiful. So very striking. I have a fluffy pampas grass and a couple of bulrushes in the living room. Every so often someone shakes them and seeds float all around the place.

  6. I have such a thing about seed heads. I like the silhouette-look of their shape. I love Angie Lewin's work too, it has a Bloomsbury Group feel about it. x
