The Love List.
Well why not? It's nearly Valentine's Day, after all.
It was going to be a Lent List, but let's face it, that was never going to happen....
My Top 13(!) romantic films.
- Pretty In Pink
I am a child of the 80's - Juno
All those Snickers - Love Actually
The declaration on flash cards to Keira... - Breakfast At Tiffany's
Moonriver... - An Officer And A Gentleman
"Way to go, Paula..way to go!" - Say Anything
the way he shivered after. Much better than the sweaty palm in Titanic - When Harry Met Sally
"I knew the way you do with a ripe melon." - True Romance
Alabama & Clarence rock - Only You
I'm Damon Bradley - The Big Blue
sigh - Sleepless In Seatle
What a place to meet on Valentines - PS I Love You
I cried my eyes out - The Five Year Engagement
If I could do it again, I'd go vintage.
There you go. Not particularly highbrow. But hey! It's romance, not Das Boot.
I resisted P&P, Atonement & Baz's Romeo & Juliet. Although on second thoughts maybe they should go on the list too. If only to make it a more rounded fifteen.
What would be on your list?
Leanne xx
My list would include most of those, and maybe The Way We Were..."Your girl is lovely, Hubbell".
