I well remember my bedroom of my teenage years, cluttered but tidy and there wasnt an inch of wall space not covered by posters of Donny and the other Osmonds.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00462752559193522943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654141479722625610.post-15590726019325613442013-12-04T11:17:32.705-08:002013-12-04T11:17:32.705-08:00I forgot to mention that I like Alfie's room a...I forgot to mention that I like Alfie's room a lot. You could paint a big square of blackboard paint where the pin board is. Much cooler and fun to write or draw on.Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11883091348839145603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654141479722625610.post-91778027282011335062013-12-04T11:15:44.831-08:002013-12-04T11:15:44.831-08:00I had a one of those perms and I have curly hair, ...I had a one of those perms and I have curly hair, too. I love the picture of you and it made me giggle and equally think that it would be a good thing to dig out some pictures. In fact only last night Josh asked me what I was like when I was little as we were having a deep conversation about problems he Is having at school and I said it might be high time I got out some pics for them to have a good giigle and one thing is for sure, once they see the hair they most certainly will. My bedroom was also a really important space for me when I grew up and I was very fond of it, but during later years I spent my days in boarding school, so I think I grew a little less attached to it. I did however have a good few posters of Jim Morrison on the walls on ceiling, and my records were my big thing. I love what you've done with Alfie's room, and I now that Josh will love that too. He is a big star wars fan and lego in general. I do however feel that when it comes to doing his room when he gets older, he will be a great deal more opinionated than Es. He is very particular about his CD's and loves Rock music (he is only 6!) and the posters on the wall have to be arranged just right and the colours are very important too. To be honest he is the same about his clothes and I really love that about him, the boy has style. You must be so relieved that it is largely done and the boys must feel chuffed with their new spaces that you have lovingly created for them. Thank you so much for your very supportive comment on my blog and shop, I really appreciate it and I love walking a little part of your journey with you, so thank you. Can you please send me your home address to stiana.hubert4@gmail.com. xoxoHannapathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05973402312667870414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654141479722625610.post-63132771333640243272013-12-03T15:25:45.860-08:002013-12-03T15:25:45.860-08:00This is such a nice room. The room will adapt as he changes. You could replace the pinboard with a big old map of the world, that would look good (and be educational too!).

Thank you SO MUCH for your sweet comments. You are very naughty putting parcels in the post. I emailed you last week asking for your address - just wondering if you got it? xxGillian Roehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05080123177116154219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654141479722625610.post-82126181064601825242013-12-03T15:22:39.816-08:002013-12-03T15:22:39.816-08:00I had a corkscrew perm, Even my fringe was permed....I had a corkscrew perm, Even my fringe was permed. Friends look at me like I'm crazy and maybe just not very caring toward my son when I share this feeling. I love him dearly and I feel that I know him well but decorating is hard when the resident of the room doesn't give a whit about how it looks. I finally hit the jackpot when I framed a cheap world map poster and hung it up. Now he stares at it and reports on where he'd like to visit. So at least I have that going for me. I love the old photos you shared, it's really fun to see what a girl's room looked like in another part of the world at roughly the same time I was growing up. I can definitely say most things are the same. :)Jennifer Hayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04685253944514672324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6654141479722625610.post-4951938929373754882013-12-03T14:37:34.868-08:002013-12-03T14:37:34.868-08:00Cheers Jane! Thanks for your kind words and comments. I spent the day painting the littlest's room (worn out now). I picked a very subtle green, it's quite neutral, and I'm gradually adding little things here and there - a stool for him to sit on when he does his colouring, a rug, a picture. I love what you've done with Alfie's room, it really is wonderful. He's a lucky boy - so much space, so many shelves. A fireplace! Bliss. In fact I'm kind of wishing it was mine. I love the picture of your room as well. Especially the teetering pile of books. I didn't realise you used to live in Bristol - so did I. Whereabouts were you? I was in Bromley Heath. Maybe you weren't far away. Loved this post Leanne, I shall tackle the other two rooms next year with more energy and inspiration now I think.
